GERMANTOWN, Md. – (BUSINESS WIRE) – On January 28, 2021, the Department of Homeland Security, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Air and Marine Operations (AMO) awarded Amentum, as part of its historic society DynCorp International, a contract to provide national aviation maintenance and logistics services. This hybrid contract of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) and Reimbursable Fees is estimated at over $ 1.3 billion and includes a base year plus nine option years and an option to extend. three months. The start of performances began on October 1, 2021.

Amentum will provide aircraft maintenance and logistical support services for CBP’s diverse fleet of fixed and rotary wing aircraft to ensure the government has the number and types of properly configured aircraft available to meet operational commitments. CBP’s aviation assets consist of approximately 211 aircraft spread across locations across the Western Hemisphere. The fleet is a mix of military and non-military, fixed and rotary wing, single-engine and multi-engine aircraft, some of which have been modified and fitted with state-of-the-art and highly sophisticated detection equipment.
