Hometown: Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Job Title: Team Leader

How long have you served in the unit? 14 years old

My job here is important because: As a team of aircraft maintainers, we provide safe, reliable and durable aircraft to support the Wings’ global airlift mission.

Civilian employment: N/A, I am a full-time AGR

Education: High school only so far

Hobbies: Playing, learning odd/random facts about anything

Objectives: To continue to climb the military ranks and to be a good mentor for new Airmen who come to our Wing.

I am most proud of: My wife continues to help local people as a nurse before, during and after the COVID pandemic

People might be surprised to learn this about me: I don’t like marshmallows.

The most exciting thing I’ve done in the military is: Perform missions on the C-17 as Flying Crew Chief

One/Some of the most valuable lessons I have learned throughout my career: You have to do something to do something wrong. No one is perfect all the time. Humans make mistakes and this is how they learn and improve through trial and error.

My advice to new Wing Airmen: Your career is mostly limited by yourself. Work hard and try to make the most of the opportunities that come your way.

The best thing about working with my team is this: we’re like a real family.
