Ken served honorably as a United States Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Wasp during World War II, where he achieved the rank of Private First Class. He was very proud of his service to our country and as a member of the US Marine Corp. He proudly wore his US Marine cap wherever he went, and it was not uncommon for him to be stopped by people who didn’t just thank him for his service, but ask about his experience. As a member of the larger generation, he was proud to share his experiences with anyone who asked him to. But most important to Ken was his love of family. He was very proud to see his family grow over the years and to hear stories of their adventures and successes. It is first and foremost his dedication and love for family that will stay with us all forever. The family would also like to thank the staff at Goddard House in Brookline, MA and the team at Harbor Health Services / Elder Services (Pace) in Mattapan for the care and love they have shown them and their family.
