Mohanlal calls Made in India aircraft carrier Vikrant an ‘engineering marvel’

Chennai, Aug 7 Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who had the opportunity to visit India’s first aircraft carrier (IAC), IAC Vikrant, called the battleship a “true engineering marvel” and expressed his wish that it always be victorious.

Taking to Instagram to express his thoughts on the carrier’s visit, Mohanlal said, “Honored to be aboard India’s first Indigenous Aircraft Carrier (IAC) which will soon be commissioned under the name of Vikrant, built at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kerala.

“After 13 long years of dedicated construction, she sets sail as a true engineering marvel that further strengthens the Indian Navy and speaks volumes about India’s shipbuilding capabilities.

“I express my deepest gratitude for this unparalleled opportunity, especially to the Commanding Officer, Commodore Vidhyadhar Harke, VSM, and Madhu Nair, Chairman and Managing Director of Cochin Shipyard Limited, for their warm hospitality.

“Witnessing the unrivaled peculiarities of this wicked machine prompts me to salute all behind IAC Vikrant, the marvel. May she always be victorious at sea!”
