xCelle Americas will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for “next generation” nacelles on Boeing 787, Boeing 737MAX, Airbus A320neo and Airbus A350 aircraft for operators in North and South America. Acting through its affiliation with AFI KLM E&M, xCelle Americas will perform repairs to Boeing 787 nacelles under the Air France license of Rohr, Inc. (Collins Aerospace), thereby expanding Air France’s licensed repair capabilities for these nacelles in the Americas.

XCelle Americas training advances important strategic objectives for Triumph and AFI KLM E&M, extending the reach of AFI KLM E&M nacelle MRO capabilities and the Boeing 787 license in the Americas and enabling Triumph to position itself in the new generation nacelle activities, thus supporting South American customers at the heart of their future fleets. With this JV, Triumph and AFI KLM E&M are taking a first step in their strategic partnership and their ambition to support airlines locally.

“The announcement of this joint venture is a great success and a sign of confidence in the future. It is an honor to be chosen to lead xCelle Americas as CEO. With William Buxton, COO of xCelle Americas, we will do our best to make this new JV a success. We are very happy to implement this new product in the Americas and to offer reliable and local solutions on new gen-nacelles for operators, ”said Philippe Martin de Beaucé, CEO of xCelle Americas.

“I am very proud of the hard work the teams have done to make this joint venture a reality and we look forward to making it a success,” said William Buxton, COO of xCelle Americas. “Triumph and Air France have an excellent working relationship, and Philippe and I are delighted to have the opportunity to combine the strengths of our respective companies in order to bring new and unique offers to our customers. “

“This new joint venture with our partner Triumph expands AFI KLM E&M’s vast network. With xCelle Americas, we continue to meet our main ambition to provide local services to our customers and to continue to be the benchmark in terms of service level in the MRO market ”, said Benjamin Moreau, Senior Vice President Components Product of AFI KLM E&M.

“Triumph is delighted to partner with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance to form this joint venture, xCelle Americas. We look forward to the opportunities this company creates by expanding our network and capabilities for existing and new customers. Said Bill Kircher, executive vice president, Triumph Systems and Support.
